Airport advertising can come in many varieties, there are advertisements everywhere you look, even in the most unexpected places. I believe they cost a lot because airports get a lot of traffic both foot and vehicle traffic on a daily basis, it also is more likely to be accepted compared to other places due to the mental changes visitors of the airport face whilst either working there or on a way to catch a plane and due to the high volume of advertisements, they are more likely to be remembered by someone compared to someone else.
If an advertisement is placed in the longue than the advertisement is going to fit the requirements and needs of a least a few thousand people and someone is sitting in the longue for a few hours waiting for their plane, if an advertisement catches their eye, then they’d more likely look it up to quench their intrigue.
The different types of advertising formats are posters, digital boards, scented boards, full on shops, leaflets, bin wraps, elevators wrap, conveyor belt posters, luggage trolleys. Even on board the planes there are advertisements such as magazines.
